How To Get More Fiverr Orders Every Month

To get more Fiverr orders every month is the main goal of every freelancer who is trying to grow their online business.

But only a few of them know how to actually achieve this.

In this post I will show you what you need to do to get more Fiverr orders and grow your income every month.

This post contains affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you make a purchase through a link.

how Fiverr works for sellers:

While on platforms such as Upwork, freelancers are competing with each other for the same job offer or project published, on Fiverr freelancers compete in a different way. The competition here is all about ranking.

And by ranking I mean doing anything you can to position your Fiverr gig, on the first page of Fiverr search results.

While ranking might seem like a tough thing to achieve, things get a little easier once you understand how optimization works.

To Get More Fiverr Orders, focus On one set of skills

While through your Fiverr seller profile you can offer many different skills, focus on one set of skills.

If you’re offering social media marketing services, publish Fiverr gigs about social media management, Instagram or Linkedin management, Facebook ads, etc.

When you do this, you’re saying to the algorythm that you’re an authority in that space.

This will help with optimization and you will look like a pro in the Fiverr buyers eyes.

If you offer for example social media management in one Fiverr gig and cooking lessons in another gig, your profile will look unprofessional and the algorithm won’t know what to optimize for first.

Know your “best seller” Fiverr gig

If you have 7 gigs in your Fiverr seller profile, you need to know which one is your main gig.

This will be the gig you’re trying to move up in the Fiverr ranking.

You do this by concentrating all your marketing efforts in one gig.

Example:

Space: Social Media Management

“A” Gig: Social media manager
“B” Gig: Instagram manager
“C” Gig: Facebook Ads Manager

“A” Gig will go as your main gig, because it can easily include activities such as Gig B, or C.

So, if a Fiverr buyer contacts you via your GIG B because he is looking for someone to manage his Instagram page, when you’re about to close the sale, find a way to send him a custom offer with GIG A.

When you send the custom offer, you can write all the activities the buyer wanted in the description space.

Instagram Engagement
Instagram Content creation
Posting on Instagram.

This will build trust in the Fiverr buyer’s eyes.

But GIG A is what will get a new order and that’s where you should concentrate all the volume of your orders.

This is your best weapon that you will try to bring on the first page of Fiverr search results.

How to promote your “best Seller” Fiverr Gig

Now that you know which one your best gig is is time to promote it.

Here are a few tips when it comes to promoting your Fiverr gig to get more orders:

Do “favorites” exchange

“Favorites” is when a potential buyer likes your gig because they want to remember it in order to contact you later or to add it in their collection of Fiverr favorite gigs.

Often they “favorite” a few gigs from different Fiverr sellers before making the final choice.

To boost your Fiverr profile a little, join Fiverr Facebook groups and do “Favorites” exchanges with other Fiverr sellers there.

You will “favorite” their gigs and they must return the favour by doing the same.

Send screenshots to each other to ensure both did as promised.

Spread your Fiverr gig link on your social media

Spread your main Fiverr gig on your Instagram, Facebook and most importantly Linkedin.

Linkedin is where businesses and professionals meet and possibly collaborate with each other.

Connect with people of your field there, and do not be shy to reach out via DM once they have accepted your connection request.

Let them know you are the best in what you offer and wait for them to get back to you.

If they do, is time to send your Fiverr gig link.

Send up to 10 messages a day on Linkedin to people who can potentially be buyers of your services.

For every message, be genuine and friendly.

Do not copy paste but manually write every message instead.

Target a specific niche on Facebook

There are many groups on Facebook created and populated by professionals of a specific niche or market.

They do this using Facebook groups and gather there to help each other or share valuable information with their colleagues.

If your Fiverr gig is for example about VA services and you know for example that business consultants need a virtual assistant, you can search and join Facebook groups about business consulting.

If they accept your join request, go through the members list or through the different group posts and see who might seem like a potential buyer of your services on Fiverr.

Add them as a friend and wait for them to accept your request.

If they do, reach out to them and genuinely ask if they need help with what you have to offer.

Do not attach your Fiverr gig link in the very first message.

If they show some interest, then you can send them your Fiverr gig so they can learn more about what you do.

How to go from getting a few to getting a lot of fiverr orders

The reason why a lot of Fiverr sellers are not able to build consistency or really be successful on Fiverr is because they underestimate some very important aspects.

By building my own Fiverr Level 2 seller profile and by helping my fiancee build her Fiverr Top Rated Seller profile, here is what I discovered:

Best Practices To Get More Fiverr Orders

Customer satisfaction does NOT mean to be able to close your Fiverr order and get paid.

Customer satisfaction means that after you closed your Fiverr order:

– Fiverr buyer left a 5 star review with a beautiful long message where he or she expresses their gratitude for the work you did for them.

– The buyer placed another Fiverr order or even better purchased a Fiverr subscription plan with you.

– He or she referred you to someone else who placed a new order on your Fiverr gig.

– They came back and placed a more expensive package.

One or all of these events will make your gig move up in ranking like you’ve never seen before.

When Fiverr Orders come, ride The wave like a pro

In the moment Fiverr look at your gig as exceptional, they will rank it up high enough for you to constantly receive messages from potential buyers on repeat.

When this moment arrives, make the best out of it.

Close as many sales as you can and deliver your work as fast as youn can.

And most importantly, get as many 5 star reviews as you can.

Also always update and upgrade your freelancer skills in order to be the best amongst your competitors.

For this purpose, using Fiverr Learn courses is a great idea because Fiverr cares about the services delivered on their platform.

And this is why their online courses are great.

avoid these from happening To Your Fiverr gig

1. Avoid getting reviews that are lower than 5 stars.

Those will “penalize” your gig and it will eventually rank lower.

2. Avoid cancellations.

If you cancel an order, your gig will lose the current ranking position. So make everything you can to close successfully your opened Fiverr orders.

3. Avoid burnouts.

When you start receiving volumes of work you cannot handle on your own, you must do anything you can to avoid burnouts.

Automate your work as much as you can. In the end, we live in the era of AI and machine learning. Whatever your industry might be, I am pretty sure that there are tools that can help you.

For example social media managers on Fiverr use scheduling platforms to automate posting on social media for clients.

This allows them to manage up to 20 social media accounts if not more. That means being able to work with many clients at once.

To avoid burnouts you can also outsource some of the work. You can always get help from other freelancers, but do not do this on Fiverr.

You might get a strike or even be banned if you buy from another Fiverr seller who offers the same gig as you do.

This goes against their policies.

I would suggest you find someone on Upwork to help you with some tasks, or even find freelancers on different Facebook groups who offer quality work for a cheap price.

To Sum Up

Fiverr can be a serious money making machine, but needs to be set up properly.

If you do everything I explained in this post, I’m pretty sure you will be able to get more Fiverr orders every month and maintain your main Gig ranking on Fiverr’s first page.

So stay active, deliver your orders quickly, answer buyers as fast as you can, and do exceptional work.

The income will grow dramatically and you will see the fruits of your hard work.

You got this!
